Your water is not necessarily the same as your neighbor's. A good recommendation starts with your water source, test results, household usage, plumbing and the problems you want solved.

Helpful answers

Questions homeowners ask first

Read the complete water guide →
Do city-water homes still need treatment?

Sometimes. Municipal water is regulated for safety, but homeowners may still want to address hardness, scale, chlorine taste or odor, sediment, or drinking-water preferences. Testing and the city's current water-quality report help determine the right approach.

What should private-well owners test?

Minnesota health guidance recommends routine testing for well owners. The treatment decision should follow the test results because hardness, iron, manganese, nitrate, arsenic and other concerns require different approaches.

Can one filter remove everything?

No. Softening, oxidation, carbon, specialty media, ultraviolet treatment and reverse osmosis solve different problems. We only make reduction claims supported for the exact component used.

Can treatment reduce microplastics?

Some fine-filtration and membrane technologies may reduce particles within their rated range, but performance varies by particle size and system certification. We verify the exact product documentation before recommending a system for that concern.

Why Walleye

Clean water matters everywhere it is used.

Water is a big part of who we are. Some of our best days are spent on the boat chasing walleyes, and time on Minnesota's lakes has given us a lasting respect for the water our communities and families depend on.

That respect carries into our work. Water touches nearly every part of daily life—from drinking and cooking to washing dishes, doing laundry and showering. We want families to feel confident about the water in their homes, so we take the time to understand the water source, the home's requirements and the results the homeowner wants.
